Early Access Moved to July 21 — More Balancing, More Content
We're pushing the AI Apocalypse Early Access launch from June 16 to July 21, 2026 to add more content and dial in balance.
Short version: AI Apocalypse Early Access is moving from June 16 to July 21, 2026. Same price ($14.99), same Steam page, same game — just five more weeks of polish.
Why the move
Two reasons:
More balancing. We’ve been running internal playtests across all three weapon classes on Nightmare and Hell difficulties, and some build paths need another pass. Bleed and Poison builds scale well into Act 3, but a few of the Sword’s Armor/Thorns cards drop off too hard against late-game bosses. Rather than ship a “known weak” archetype and patch it in week one, we’d rather you have nine build paths that all feel viable on day one.
More content. We’re adding a handful of new cards and gear pieces that fill gaps in the mid-game reward pool. Right now there’s a dead zone around nodes 8–12 where the offered cards don’t synergize well with early picks. A few targeted additions fix that without bloating the card pool.
What this doesn’t change
- Price stays $14.99 — EA buyers keep that price permanently, even after 1.0 raises it to $19.99.
- Scope is the same — three acts, three classes, 140+ cards, 50+ gear, full meta-progression. We’re not adding acts or classes before launch.
- Wishlists still count — if you’ve already wishlisted, nothing changes on your end. If you haven’t, now’s a good time.
